1. About Us

DolarMap is a currency exchange monitoring application developed and operated by Tecnologia Atual Servicos LTDA, hereinafter referred to as the "developer" or "we". The application aggregates, in real-time, US dollar (USD/BRL) quotes from various cryptocurrency exchanges and brokers, displaying the best available opportunities for buying, selling, and arbitrage in the market.

2. What DolarMap Does

The application offers the following features:

  • Real-time monitoring of USD/BRL quotes across multiple national and international brokers and exchanges.
  • Display of the best opportunities to buy and sell dollars, with the spread calculated against the official exchange rate from the Central Bank of Brazil (PTAX).
  • Arbitrage mode: displays the margin between the best available buy price and the best available sell price simultaneously.
  • Historical spread variation charts with periods ranging from 24 hours to 1 year.
  • Configurable price alerts: the user sets a target value and receives a push notification when the condition is met.
  • Ranking of brokers and exchanges by best historical performance.

3. Informational Nature – No Financial Advice

All information displayed by DolarMap is for strictly informational and educational purposes. The application does not, under any circumstances, offer:

  • Financial advisory or consulting services of any kind.
  • Recommendations to buy, sell, or perform any other currency or asset transaction.
  • Guarantees of profitability, return, or any operational outcome.
  • Personalized analysis of the user's financial situation.

The displayed quotes reflect data collected automatically from public sources and may not exactly match the price effectively practiced at the time of a real transaction. Factors such as brokers' operational spreads, volume limits, additional fees, and data latency may cause the actual price to differ from that displayed in the application.

The user is solely responsible for their financial decisions. Before carrying out any currency exchange operation, we recommend consulting the terms and conditions of the chosen broker and, where relevant, a qualified financial professional.

By using DolarMap, you also acknowledge the general terms of our parent infrastructure platform, bitsARK Labs.

4. Data Sources

DolarMap automatically collects quotes from public APIs and order book systems from the following sources (subject to change):

  • International exchanges: Binance, OKX, KuCoin, Bitget, Bybit, MEXC.
  • National exchanges and brokers: Bitso, Mercado Bitcoin, BitPreco, Foxbit, NovaDAX, BrasilBitcoin, Coinext.
  • Official exchange rate: obtained via the Central Bank of Brazil's API (PTAX).

We do not maintain any commercial ties, affiliation, or partnership with the listed brokers and exchanges. The display of data does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of these platforms. Each broker has its own terms, risks, and regulations, for which DolarMap is not responsible.

5. Data Availability and Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep the data updated and accurate, but we do not guarantee continuous availability, absence of errors, or real-time updates. The service may be interrupted or present inaccuracies for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Temporary unavailability of broker or exchange APIs.
  • Connectivity failures or infrastructure maintenance.
  • High-frequency market fluctuations not captured in the update interval.

DolarMap is not liable for financial losses or damages of any kind arising from the use or inability to use the displayed information.

6. Account and Authentication

Using DolarMap does not require creating an account with an email or password. Authentication is performed in two ways:

  • Automatically, through a unique anonymous identifier generated on the device (UUID), which allows saving alerts without the user needing to register.
  • Optionally, via Sign in with Google, which links the alerts to the user's Google profile, allowing them to be restored in case of a device change.

Sign in with Google is optional and voluntary. The application does not request or store passwords, emails, or any Google profile data other than the unique identifier (UID) generated by Firebase Authentication.

7. Price Alerts

Alerts configured by the user are stored on our servers and used exclusively for sending push notifications when the defined condition is met. The user can create, edit, pause, and delete their alerts at any time through the Alerts screen within the application.

The accuracy and timeliness of alerts are subject to the same availability limitations described in section 5. We do not guarantee the triggering of alerts in cases of connectivity failure, data source unavailability, or push notification service failures.

8. Free and Paid Plans

DolarMap is available for free, with all essential features provided at no cost. In the future, we may offer a paid plan with additional features. Should this occur, users will be informed in advance, and the conditions will be clearly presented before any charges are made.

We do not perform any automatic billing. The application does not store credit card or payment method data. Any future in-app purchases or subscriptions will be processed exclusively through the platform's native payment system - Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) - subject to the terms and refund policies of those platforms. We will never request direct payment outside of these official channels.

9. Audience and Use by Minors

DolarMap is a financial information application intended for a general audience. There is no age restriction for use, but we recommend that users under 18 use the application under the supervision of a legal guardian, given the financial nature of the information displayed.

The application does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we identify that a child's data has been inadvertently collected, we will delete it immediately.

10. Intellectual Property

The source code, design, texts, logos, and other visual elements of DolarMap are the property of the developer. Reproduction, distribution, reverse engineering, or commercial use of any element is prohibited without prior express written authorization.

The displayed quote data is obtained from public sources and belongs to the respective brokers and exchanges. DolarMap does not claim ownership of this data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the application, including, but not limited to, financial losses resulting from decisions made based on the information displayed.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When significant changes occur, we will notify users through an in-app notice or push notification. Continued use of the application after notification implies acceptance of the new terms. The most recent version will always be available on the "Terms and Transparency" screen of the application.

13. Service Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue DolarMap or any of its features at any time. In the event of permanent discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice through an in-app message or push notification, where technically feasible.

Upon discontinuation, all data stored on our servers will be permanently deleted within 90 days, in accordance with our data retention policy and applicable law.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. For the resolution of disputes, the jurisdiction of the user's domicile is elected, as provided for in the Consumer Defense Code (Law 8.078/1990). These Terms do not limit any rights you may have under the applicable laws of your country of residence.
